« The script is the plane we fly across the Atlantic Ocean of production. Imagine trying to bolt on a new wing at 12,000 m in high turbulence. Ridiculous! Yet so often that’s what you see happening in the making of movies, those “planes” get launched not because the script is ready but because financing or actor availability dictates it. If Hollywood ensured that the filmaker and the script are given the thorough attention and inspired engineering they absolutely demand and deserve, there’d be far fewer plane wrecks. On dit toujours qu’il y a trop d’événements à Cannes pour en créer de nouveaux. En 2012  la Maison des Scénaristes à démontré le contraire. Le succès fut au rendez-vous, prouvant la nécessité de ces rencontres entre professionnels. Chacun a besoin de l’autre, il y avait foule lors de ces journées  de rendez-vous avec les inventeurs d’histoires, ces professionnels de l’imaginaire, méconnus et indispensables qu’on nomme scénaristes.
